Bureau of International and Constitutional Institutions


Foundation and Purposes
The Bureau was founded in 1997. It implements research programmes on the international commitments and foreign policy of Greece as well as the protection of human rights. It registers the problems and evaluates the priorities of the participation of Greece to international organizations. It elaborates proposals for the more efficient participation of Greece to the European Union. The Bureau studies also the education in Greece (primary, secondary, university). It creates a database of international conventions, case-law and resolutions. It studies the compliance of our country with the international legal order in connection with Greek Constitutions of the other members of the European Union.
