He was born in Athens in 1981.
Between 2011 and 2014 he lectured on diplomatic history, foreign policy and Southeast European studies at the departments of Law and Political Science of Democritus University of Thrace and in 2018-2019 at the department of Political Science at the University of Crete. In 2018 he was elected as Researcher C’ at the Modern Greek History Research Centre (KEINE) of the Academy of Athens.
He studied history, philosophy and social studies of science at University College London (B. Sc. Honours) and international relations at the London School of Economics and Political Science (M. Sc.). In 2009 he was awarded his Ph.D. from the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of the University of Athens.
He has been a Visiting Scholar at the University of Cambridge and Research Fellow of the Hellenic Centre for European Studies. He has been a member of the editorial board of the LSE’s Millennium as well as academic coordinator of the LSE organization “Oikos.”
His research interests focus on foreign policy, state-building and regional cooperation in Southeast Europe.
